Seriously Dangerous Religion: What the Old Testament Really Says and Why it Matters.
We live in a culture in which people increasingly believe that monotheistic religion is dangerous, and that biblical monotheism is seriously dangerous, and ought to be rejected by all right-thinking people – especially because the God of the Bible is violent. But is any of this true? This seminar explores these issues of God, Scripture, and violence.
