One of our goals at NSAC is to help created stronger marriages by providing engaged couples with a pre-marriage mentor couple. These couples are not counsellors but church members who have been married at least five years, have a strong and open marriage relationship and have been trained in the Home-Based Pre-Marriage Mentoring Program. This program provides an opportunity to discuss important issues that will come up in marriage - communication, values, conflict and expectations. It is a seven to nine week course that, ideally, will be completed well before the wedding.
