Operation Christmas Child
Next Sunday, November 20th, is the very last opportunity to drop-off your shoeboxes! Alternatively, shoeboxes can be packed online at www.packabox.ca. Operation Christmas Child reaches out to children around the world in desperate situations, bringing joy and hope through gift-filled shoeboxes, reminding them that they are loved and not forgotten. NSAC Shoreline Clean UpSaturday, November 12, 2022 We would like to invite you to another NSAC Environmental Justice event on Saturday, November 12th. Meet at Delbrook Community Rec Center at 2:30 pm. We will be cleaning William Griffin Park, creating new friendships, and witnessing to the local North Van community through caring for our neighbours and creation! Children and dogs are also welcome to attend. Please wear weather-appropriate clothes and good shoes. Cleaning supplies and snacks will be provided. Sign-up not required. We hope to see you there! |
Pray for COP27
Join others from North Shore Alliance virtually to pray for COP27, the UN’s Climate Climate Conference of the Parties, each evening from November 6 - 18 at 9 PM! Rynn Zhang, who is flying to Egypt to attend the conference in-person alongside other Christians from around the world, will be providing us with a brief update followed by a time of prayer for approximately 10 minutes. Lamplighters LuncheonMonday, November 28, 2022 Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on November 28, 2022. If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Our speaker will be Cathy Leyland. Registration and payment will take place November 13th & 20th in the foyer, before the start of each service. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon. The cost per person is $25. NSA Kids' Christmas Play!
Hey everyone! Do you LOVE to perform? Well here's a chance to participate in our Family Christmas Eve Service! On December 24th, our church will be hosting TWO Family Christmas Eve Services including a drama and a Kids' Choir, which will perform in BOTH services! We want any kid - Kindergarten to Grade 4 - and any adults within our Kids' Ministry community, who enjoy acting to join us. We need Scripture Readers, Kid Actors, and Adult Actors! Auditions are required. More information regarding roles and auditions is provided on the registration page. Please register by Sunday, November 20th. NSA Kids' Choir!Christmas Eve Family Services - Monday, November 28, 2022 Hey kids! Do you LOVE to sing? Well here's a chance to sing 2 songs in our Family Christmas Eve Services! On December 24th, our church will be hosting TWO Family Christmas Eve Services including a drama and a Kids' Choir, which will perform in BOTH services! We want any kid - Preschool (age 3-5) to Preteen - who enjoys singing to join us. The Preschool choir (age 3-5) will be performing ONE song - separately from the older kids. They will be practicing on Sunday mornings during class, and are not required to be at the choir practices. Preschoolers that want to participate must still register and be at the dress rehearsal. Some people in our congregation struggle with allergies to scents. In order to help them, please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to our Sunday services or meetings at the church. Thanks so much for your help with this! |
