2023 Tax Receipts
Thank you for your generous donations during the past year! Tax Receipts have been issued for donations made during 2023. Tax receipts were emailed to those with an email address on file, or mailed to those with only an address on file. If we do not have an email or address on file, your tax receipt is in the foyer mail boxes under your last name. Please note that you may receive up to 3 tax receipts, depending on what types of donations you made during the year. CRA requires different types of receipts be issued for donations when an advantage was received (ie., dinner or auction item) and for Gifts in Kind (non-cash donations). Therefore, our donation software generates 3 distinct receipts. If you have any questions, please email accountant@nsac.bc.ca or call the church office at 604-984-6422 ext 222. |

Missions SpotlightMark & Karen Davenport National workers serving with Youth With A Mission and Sarnia JailMark & Karen Davenport and family are located in Sarnia, Ontario. Mark holds the position of Chaplain at the Sarnia Jail. In addition, Mark is continuing to serve with Youth With A Mission on the Board of Directors for YWAM Canada. Karen is also working with YWAM as a personal assistant to the Canadian director and Compliance Officer for YWAM Project Funding. UPDATE FROM MARK:Hello NSAC family!Thank you for your continued support of our work here in Sarnia, Ontario. I (Mark) am continuing to serve at the Sarnia Jail. Included in what I do there is handing out Bibles and Bible studies for inmates to do, distribute devotionals and lead 2 programs a week that usually involve watching a video on faith and then engaging in conversation. It really is a great opportunity to engage both female and male inmates in the big questions of life and how does faith fit into that. Last year I had the privilege of leading over 40 inmates to faith and baptize 6. And just yesterday I was presented with the potential opportunity to offer chaplaincy services at the Stratford Jail. Stay tuned on that one. My wife Karen is really carrying quite the Administrative load on the YWAM front serving in two different roles. She serves as the Administrative Assistant to our Canadian YWAM Director helping to keep him organized and on task. The second role that she’s just recently taken on is acting as the Compliance Officer for YWAM Project Funding where she is responsible to make sure that the proper documentation to receive Canadian funds is properly completed for our accountants and CRA compliance. It requires a lot of organization and detailed work. Prayer requests:Prayer for our family! Please pray for ongoing healing for our son Jacob who struggles with mental health. Prayer for our son Simeon to get a job as he is graduating from University of Windsor this spring. Pray for safe travels as we visit our daughter Alex and son in-law in Australia this coming March. |
