Day of PrayerTuesday, October 15, 2024 We are excited to hold a Day of Prayer for NSA and the next steps in our lead pastor search. Prayer and inviting the Spirit into these steps is crucial! PRAYER ROOMWe plan to have 12.5 hours of non-stop prayer on Tuesday, October 15th from 6:30am -7:00pm. Please click on the "register" button to sign up for a 30 minute session in our Prayer Room. Only one name is required to reserve your time, but you are welcome to bring your friend(s), family, or small group to pray with you. CORPORATE PRAYER & WORSHIPWe will also have the sanctuary open in the day and will hold three corporate prayer and worship times facilitated by the pastoral team at 6:30am, 12pm, and 7pm. ESL Bible StudyMonday, September 30, 2024 NSAC has an ESL Bible Study Group meeting Monday evenings in the lower auditorium from 7-8:30 pm, starting September 30th. Come join us to practice English together as we study the Bible, and build friendships in the church community. Anyone 18+ is welcome to attend. Mall MerrimentFriday, October 18, 2024 Mall Merriment is an event open to all our grade 5, 6 and 7 students. The Preteens will participate in a scavenger-hunt-style jaunt with their preteen leaders! Everyone must register in advance, so please sign up your preteens (Grade 5, 6 and 7 only) before Friday morning. Friends are always welcome but they must be signed up by Friday morning as well! Annual General Meeting 2024Sunday, October 20, 2024 The 2024 Annual General Meeting will be on Sunday, October 20th, at 7pm in the Church Sanctuary. Business at the AGM will include the presentation of financial statements, election of elders, and election of nominating committee members. The 2024 Annual Report and Reviewed Financial Statements will be emailed to the Membership list this coming week and printed copies will be made available upon request (info@nsac.bc.ca or 604-984-6422). The Nominating Committee presents three new candidates for the position of NSAC Elder: Wendy Cheng, John Elliott, and Dev Hildebrand; and one current Elder up for re-election to another two years of service: Clive Harvey. Their biographies, along with those of the elders in the middle of their service term, will be available in the Annual Report. |
