On October 5, we're fundraising in the Ride for Refuge to call attention to some people and priorities that we feel really strongly about - The Elevation Project which is part of Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited. And although it only takes a few hours of our time, we know it will make a difference. By participating in the RIDE, we're raising awarness for youth who seek to be leaders for peace, justice and change in their communities. We are speaking for youth who struggle in life, but want to overcome their fears. We are speaking for youth who believe in community and diversity. And by fundraising, we're supporting The Elevation Project who is bringing hope and refuge to those same people and beyond.
We have set up a team page and Chris Hege, our program manager is leading our team riding 50km on his bike. If he reaches his goal of $2000 he will be riding the 50km on a tandem as a symbol that we need each other.
This is where you come in. There is two ways you can be part of the Ride for Refuge.
1. You can donate to the Elevation Cruisers - our team riding for the Elevation Project.
2. You can join Chris in biking 50km or a shorter distance if you prefer. Just sign up on the team page, set your fundraising goal and spread the word.

The Elevation Project
