Guys, join us for a time of worship, teaching, and fun at the Father/Son Man Day. No need to have a Father or Son join you. This event is for ALL men in our church (12 and up)!

Come spend some time with other guys in our church. Play pickleball, participate in an axe throwing competition, hang out, play some games, eat too many donuts, BBQ, and be encouraged in your faith!

Feel free to bring a friend! Fathers bring your sons, and sons bring your fathers and grandfathers!!  

Cost: $20/person

Scholarships are available for those in need of financial assistance. Please select "requesting scholarship" when registering.

We are planning a year end event for our PreTeens on Grouse Mountain!!

We're going to traverse the Adventure of the Ropes Course, visit the Grizzly Bears, listen to some Ranger Talks and enjoy as much as we can on the mountain!

Drop off and Pick up:  Base of Grouse Mountain near the Starbucks

We have some exciting news to share about our Children’s Ministry team! Naomi Peters has joined our staff team part-time as Family Ministries Associate to work alongside Candace. A major part of her Family Ministries role will be to connect with families and create events to grow our community. She will continue to work as a Community Health Nurse on the North Shore but will be sharing her time with us at NSAC.

Families, visit NSA Kids in the Lower Auditorium after either the 9 am or 11 am service and connect with other families, meet kids from your children's classes, play foosball, eat ice cream and much more. No registration required... just show up!  See you soon.

Our next Lamplighters Luncheon will be held downstairs at NSAC on May 27, 2024.  If you are 55 or older, you are welcome to join us from 11:30am - 1:30pm. Our speaker will be Pastor Anne Thicke.

Registration and payment will take place May 12th & 19th in the foyer, between the services. There will be no sign up the Sunday before the luncheon. The cost per person is $20. Please pay when you register. Friends are welcome, but please register them also.

With its thick forests and glorious ocean sunsets, Rathtrevor Provincial Park in Parksville is the perfect place to get away for the weekend. We'll stay as a group campground just 5 minutes from a sun-baked beach! This place is fully equipped with showers and both flush and pit toilets.

LEAVING: Friday, May 31st. Meet at the foot passenger area at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal at 5:20pm.

RETURNING: Sunday, June 2nd on the 4pm ferry from Nanaimo. Parents should pick up up at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal at 5:40pm.

COST: $80.00

Cancellation Policy:

The cost includes a $40 non-refundable fee.  
If cancelled before May 10th, a 50% refund will be offered.
If cancellation is made after May 24th, the registration will be considered 100% non-refundable.

Our next Baptism Service will be on Sunday, June 30th at 12:30pm, as part of NSAC's 75th Anniversary Celebrations.

You are invited to join us for an afternoon of creating art! 

This is an opportunity for people (ages 8-80+) to be creative and experiment with various art materials in a supportive community.

As inspiration for landscape painting, we will briefly introduce the artwork of Emily Carr and the Group of Seven painters.  Most of our time will be used to draw, paint, chat with others and enjoy a snack together.

No prior experience necessary! Learn with artist Julie Thompson, who has 50 years of teaching experience and is passionate about encouraging young artists and ones who are young-at-heart.

All supplies provided, including acrylic paints and small canvases. Please bring an apron or wear clothes that can get messy.

Cost: $10 per person
Limit of 25 people

BABYLON: Daniel's Courage in Captivity

Join in the adventure as we travel back to Babylon and discover the many ways Daniel showed courage because he knew GOD was with him! From being captured to standing before a new king... praying when not allowed and being thrown to lions!  Watch Daniel as he trusts God for help all along the way!!

PreSummerJAM is July 2-5, 2024  - for ages 3-5 with parent participation.

SummerJAM is July 8-12, 2024 - for kids entering K to Grade 5.
