Day of PrayerTuesday, January 14, 2025 We are excited to hold another Day of Prayer on Tuesday, January 14th! PRAYER ROOMThe prayer room will be open from 7am - 7pm. Please click on the "register" button to sign up for a 30 minute session in our Prayer Room. Only one name is required to reserve your time, but you are welcome to bring your friend(s), family, or small group to pray with you. CORPORATE PRAYER & WORSHIPWe will also have the sanctuary open in the day and will hold a corporate prayer and worship gathering at 7pm. ESL Bible StudyMonday, January 13, 2025 NSAC has an ESL Bible Study Group meeting Monday evenings in the lower auditorium from 5:30-7:00 pm. Come join us to practice English together as we study the Bible, and build friendships in the church community. Anyone 18+ is welcome to attend. The Sanctuary CourseMonday, January 13, 2025 Would you like to learn more about mental health? Would you value connecting with others? Sign up for The Sanctuary Course and explore topics including: mental health and mental illness, stigma, the recovery journey, companionship, self-care, and the role of community. Each theme is covered from a psychological, social, and theological angle, and each session includes a short film that tells the story of a person of faith with mental health challenges. Mondays, January 13 to March 3 There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read the short sessions in the course book before each group gathering. $10 for printed course book (or download the PDF for free). Thursdays, Jan 16th - Apr 10th A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Making Space for GodJanuary 17-19, 2025 Join Pastor Anne on this weekend retreat whose purpose is to make space to be with God. We will have several short sessions as a group throughout the weekend where we will engage in a prayer, be introduced to a spiritual practice and then released with ample time to be alone with God. 7pm Friday, Jan 17th to 11am Sunday, Jan 19th Registration limited to 14. NSCCD 2024 - It's A Wrap!
On Saturday, December 14th 409 guests attended the annual North Shore Community Christmas Dinner. All who came enjoyed a delicious Christmas meal with all the fixings beautifully served in a festive atmosphere with loads of high-quality entertainment. This event is the highlight of their year for many vulnerable people in our city. Thank you for your generous support and hard work put into this year's dinner!
