Important Info for SummerJAM 2025 Volunteers
ARRIVE ONE HOUR BEFORE CAMP BEGINS
SummerJAM is held both outside and inside, so please arrive one hour early to help set up the tents, tables, put up decorations, set up for games, then pray together as a team. Please expect to stay for up to 30 minutes EACH DAY AFTER CAMP to help clean-up and debrief. Thanks!
SummerJAM - arrive at 8:00 am. Camp begins at 9:00 am.
YOUR T-SHIRT AND NAMETAG
You will receive a leader t-shirt and name tag during the training session. You need to wear these items AT ALL TIMES during SummerJAM. Please do not wear short shorts. Also, please do not cut or alter your SummerJAM shirt in any way.
PHONES AND PHOTOS
SummerJAM is a lot of fun! To make sure everyone has a positive experience, volunteers are asked to keep their phones away or safe at the Welcome Desk during SummerJAM. For everyone's safety, volunteers are not allowed to take any photos during camp. There will be designated photographers capturing the week.
PARKING
The church parking lot is used for camp activities so if you are driving here, please park on one of the surrounding streets.
SNACK AND WATER BOTTLE
You will need to bring a water bottle to camp each day and snacks will be provided for volunteers. Please do not share food with your campers.
LOST & FOUND
If you find anything on the ground not belonging to your group, please hand it in at the Welcome Desk. If you lose anything, the Welcome Desk is where to look.
WELCOME / INFORMATION DESK
The Welcome / Information Desk will be at the entrance to the church. Registration, Lost & Found, parent questions, entry to the bathrooms, and First Aid are all here too.
THURSDAY 'THANK YOU' LUNCH
This year for SummerJAM, we are having a Celebration Lunch at about 12:30pm on Thursday for all the volunteers. Please plan to stay!
